Note 2: The most common way to track completion is to select the activities that need to be completed in the "Condition: Activity completion" section of the page. If this section is empty, it's because the activities themselves do not have any completion criteria. Refer to "Tracking Progress" to set the completion criteria for individual activities.

3.5.4.2
3.5.4.2
New in 3.5.4.2. A new setting has been added to version 3.5.4.2 to allow a user to get a new learning record each time they complete the course. This setting is labelled "Issue LRS record every completion" and is available in the "Completion Tracking" section of the course settings. If this setting is disabled, the user will only get a learning record the first time they completes the course, or if the previous learning record is expired. If this setting is enabled, the user will get a new learning record each time they complete the course.

For example, let's assume that a user took the "Preventing Workplace Violence and Harassment" course in 2017 and that his learning record never expires. Let's also assume that an incident occurred at work at the this user is asked to take the course once more in 2019. If the "Issue LRS record every completion" is disabled, the user could take the course once more, but the LRS (Learning Record Store) would not generate a new learning record for this user. It would therefore be difficult for the user's manager to confirm that he indeed took the course. But with "Issue LRS record every completion" enabled, the system will generate a new learning record, which will then appear in the user's learning history.
