By default, a user has to be enrolled in the course to view and/or select the session they want to attend. This is problematic because people have to enroll in the course to see if there are actually available sessions. This can cause issues with users who have to pay for the course using PayPal If you course contains face-to-face sessions, you generally want to display then to the learners before they enrol in the course. This is particularly important if the course has a fee. A user would be dissatisfied if they purchased a course with their credit card only to find out after they've paid for the course fact that they cannot make attend any of the sessions due to the date or venue of the upcoming sessions. As such, it is possible to display the list of upcoming sessions in the course description, which is available to users before they enroll in the course. It is also possible to let people sign up for sessions at the same time that they enroll..

Step-by-step Guide

By following the steps above, the learning environment will replace the {filter_facetoface} text string with a table listing all of the upcoming sessions.
