Competencies describe the level of understanding or proficiency of a learner in certain subject-related skills. Competency-based education (CBE), also known as Competency-based learning or Skills-based learning, refers to systems of assessment and grading where learners demonstrate these competencies.
In order to build an appraisal form, you will need to first define a competency framework, and then add individual competencies.
It’s important to note that a scale must exist before you can add competencies. If you have not already done so, go ahead and define one or more scales.
