The Dual Code Web Conferencing system is based on BigBlueButton®, a popular open-source web conferencing system. It is HTML5 compliant and runs on Mac, UNIX, or PC computers using any modern browser, as well as popular mobile devices such as iOS and Android, without the need to download or install any software or plug-ins.
General Features
BigBlueButton supports all the basic features you’d expect from a web conferencing service.
Web CamAudio. Supports integrated audio out-of-the-box. All your students need are speakers and a microphone to participate.
Web cam. Multiple users can share their Web cam at the same time. There is no built-in limit on the number of simultaneously active webcams.
Presentation. The presenter can upload any PDF presentation, office documents and keep everyone in sync with their current page, zoom, pan, and see the presenters mouse pointer.
Integrated VoIP. Supports voice over IP (VoIP) conferencing out-of-the-box. All your students need are speakers and a microphone to participate.
Desktop SharingDesktop sharing. Go beyond slides. The presenter can broadcast their desktop for all students to see. Works on Mac, Unix, and PC.
Integrated Whiteboardwhiteboard. The whiteboard enables the presenter to draw freehand as well as simple shapes on top of the presentation slides. Everything drawn on the whiteboard is synchronized in real time across all the conference participants.
Integrated Chatchat. Users can send private and public messages to other users.
Polling. Teachers are able to create polls and share results with students in real-time.
Breakout Roomsrooms. Group users into breakout rooms for team collaboration.
Support for HTML5 (New in 3.5.11): BigBlueButton is now HTML5 compliant, removing the requirement to run install / run Adobe® Flash in your browser.

Number of hosts. Dual Code does not restrict the number of hosts. This means that organizations or instructors do not need to share an account.
Number of meetings. Dual Code does not restrict the number of concurrent meetings. Two sessions can take place at the same time (in different rooms).
Completion tracking. BigBlueButton is integrated with the learning environment better than other web conferencing systems. In addition to being integrate with our face-to-face activity, instructors can set completion criteria that will be automatically mark users as having completed the BigBlueButton session, including:
That the learner must attend the session for a certain amount of time
That the learner must participate in chats, polls, or discussions
