This plugin provides functionality to register LRS records against courses in the LMS without having to actually complete the course. The learning environment allows administrators to issue learning records for courses in the learning environment. The intended use case for this feature is for user(s) who have completed an equivalent course outside the LMSlearning environment (e.g. with another training provider).

Step-by-step guide
To bulk issue course equivalencyequivalencies as a System Administrator:
- Go toSite administration > Courses > Course equivalencies
- Fill out the form in question. You can also upload a copy of a certificate of completion in PDF format if you'd like.
- Click on "Save changes".
Expiration date
When registering course equivalencies the manager has , you have the option of specifying an expiration date. In the absence of this, the system will calculate the expiration date based on current course settings. So for For example, if a course is configured to expire 10 days 1 year after completion, and an equivalency is being registered for May 13, 20192021, the resulting LRS learning record will be set to expire on May 2313, 20192022.
