Most Supervisors (e.g. Managers, Directors, VPs) are interested in understanding how compliant the level of compliance for their staff are in regards to mandatory training. While Supervisors have access to numerous reports if they log in the learning environment, a summary can automatically be sent to them via email on a regular basis (e.g. weekly, monthly or quarterly).

This feature is currently in Beta. Prior to clients being able to follow the steps below, Dual Code must first manually make the following configuration changes:
- Go to Site administration > Messaging > Notification settings
- Find the "Compliance summaries" notification
- Enable the main notification
- Enable email notification
- Enable and lock the web notification
- Click on the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the page
- Go to Site administration > Plugins > Reports > Compliance
- Set report_compliance | coursestatus to "As per the progress report"
- Enable report_compliance | enablenotifications
- Set report_compliance | userfield
- Save the page

The summary looks as shown in this screen.
The “Compliance Report” link available near the bottom of this email will redirect Supervisors to the compliance report within the learning environment.

If you are currently sending the Program Completion email to Supervisors, you may want to disable it by setting the “Program Completion Notifications” to “Never”, but this is optional. Both reports can be emailed to Supervisors.

Supervisors can disable the email-based notifications if they do not want to receive emails. They can do so by disabling the “Compliance summaries” notification in their notification preferences. However, they may not disable the web-based notifications (e.g. the notification that they will see when they log in the learning environment using a browser)
