The learning environment allows Dual Code's clients and partners to exchange learning records via the Learning Record Exchange (LRX). This innovative framework is ideal for example when:
- An organization wants to send learning records to a 3rd party that is in charge of tracking compliance for certain courses such as Physician Accreditation
- An organization wants to send learning records to a hardware vendor that requires proof of competency before activating any device (e.g. glucose meters) for your technical staff.
- A group of organizations share some common staff and need to exchange learning records to prevent staff from having to complete the same course multiple times at the different hospitals.
Step-by-step Guide
To send learning records to a 3rd party:
- Go to the course in question
- Click on Course Administration > Learning Record Exchange
- Click on the "Add" button
- Enter / select the destination for the site in question
- Click on the "Add" button to save your changes
Important Notes:
- The list of destinations is pre-filtered. If you would like to add names to the list and/or if the system you are trying to integrate to does not appear in the list, please contact your administrator and/or Dual Code via our Help Centre.
- The site receiving the learning records must enable their system to accept learning records coming from your site. If the site does not see your learning records, please contact their system administrator so that they may contact Dual Code via our Help Centre.
- When this feature is enabled, it only sends learning records going forward. In other words, enabling this feature will not send learning records that already exist. If you need to send old learning records, please contact your administrator and/or Dual Code via our Help Centre.
