The CMaRS Integration services described below may require additional one-time and/or annual fees. For more information, please contact us.

CMaRS is a 3rd party software that manages the annual reappointment cycle of Physicians. CMaRS is integrated with Dual Code's learning environment, meaning that when a Physician completes a course in your organization's learning environment, a proof of completion is sent to CMaRS.

Step-by-step Guide

To integrate the learning environment with CMaRS and send it learning records:

  1. Set up the courses that need to send learning records to CMaRS as you normally would, with the proper course completion requirements. Verify that if a user takes the course, a learning record is issued.
  2. Once in the course, click on Course Administration > Learning record exchange
  3. Click on the "Add" button
  4. Select "CMaRS" as a destination
  5. Click on the "Add" button to save your changes

From this point forward, learning records for this course will be sent to the recipient (CMaRS), thereby identifying the users as having completed the course.

The following learning records will not be sent to the recipient.

  • Existing (legacy) learning records
  • Learning records that are uploaded using a CSV file
  • Learning records generated as part of a course equivalency application

Troubleshooting Issues

Q. The user has a learning record in our learning environment, but we can't see it in CMaRS.

A. CMaRS tracks users by using their OCI ID, which for Physicians is usually their CPSO number. If the user is not showing on CMaRS, look at their OCI ID in the learning environment to make sure it is accurate.
