Enabling Self Enrolment

In order for users to be able to self-enrol in a course, the self-enrolment method must be enabled. The self-enrolment method is also what allows you to set a fee for your course if it is not available for free.

Dual Code will not be liable if you do not properly configure the course to collect a payment.

Step-by-step Guide

  1. Go to the course in question.

  2. Go to Course Administration > Users > Enrolment Methods.

  3. Select "Self Enrolment" from the "Add method" dropdown menu.

  4. Configure the enrolment method in question

    1. If you want to charge a fee for your course, make sure you enable "Collect payment" in the "Payment Settings" section and set a "Cost". The cost should not included the taxes. The taxes, if applicable, will be calculated automatically based on the "Sales tax" setting.

Important Notes

Dual Code will not be liable if you do not properly configure the course to collect payment. Furthermore, we will not "unenrol" users from the course and/or ask them to pay a fee after they have already been enrolled in a course.
