Tracking Completion

When adding a course, any activity that is deemed mandatory for the course must be identified in the course completion criteria. If you do not follow these steps, users will never be marked as having completed the course.

Step-by-step Guide

To identify the list of mandatory activities in a course:

  1. Go to the course in question

  2. Go to Course Administration > Course Completion

  3. Expand the "Condition: Activity Completion" section

  4. Select the mandatory activities

  5. Click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the page

Important Notes

  • By default, no activity is selected. In other words, all activities are considered optional in the system.

  • If an activity does not appear in the list, it's because you forgot to configure the "Activity Completion" section of the activity itself. You must go back to the settings of that activity and set the activity completion criteria.
