Tiered Pricing and Membership Discounts with PayPal Pro

The PayPal Pro enrollment plugin now supports tiered pricing and membership discounts.

To specify different fees for different pricing for different groups of users:

  1. Set up each group of user as a separate cohort in your system. You can refer to the Automatic Cohort Synchronization documentation to help you set this up automatically.

  2. Add a PayPal Pro enrollment instance to your course and restrict it to the cohort(s) in question as per the screenshot below. You can refer to the Integration with PayPal Pro documentation to help you add an enrollment instance.

  3. Add a second PayPal Pro enrollment instance to your course with a different price and once again, restrict it to the cohort(s) in question.

  4. Repeat step #3 above until all your pricing are set.

When a user enrolls in the course, he/she will only see the PayPal Pro enrollment instance that is available to his/her cohort and as such, will only be aware of one (1) price point (assuming the user does not belong to multiple cohort for which you enabled PayPal Pro).
