Dual Code has developed various reports for administrators, team managers, instructors, learners and other roles. The reports listed below are already installed in your learning environment but may not be active yet. If you do not find these reports, please contact your Dual Code representative to enable them.
The Custom Report Builder
The system also comes with a tool that allows you to build your own reports using a user-friendly wizard (team supervisors, instructors or other non-programmers) or SQL for more advanced users. Using this tool, you can create various types of reports, including:
Courses reports, with information regarding courses.
Categories reports, with information regarding categories. A courses report can be embedded in this type of report.
Users reports, with information regarding users and their activity in a course.
Timeline reports, a special type of report that displays a timeline. A course or user report can be embedded in this timeline showing data depending on the start and end time of the current row.
- Custom SQL Reports, using custom SQL queries for advanced users (see the Database Schema).
The tool supports advanced features such as filters, pagination, logic conditions and permissions, plots, templates support, and the ability to export the reports to Microsoft Excel, CSV, and ODS.
The tool also allows you to import reports developed by other healthcare organization at the click of a button. The report hub already contains over a dozen reports that can be downloaded for free and modified by you and your team to meet your specific requirements.
New in 3.5: Archive to secure FTP
The Custom Report Builder now allows you to archive your report to a secure FTP server so that you can download using secure third-party tools. Please note the following:
- The size of the reports and the number of records is limited for performance and scalability reasons. If you need a solution that scales above and beyond what this tool supports, please contact us.
- For security reasons, we also require clients to create a private/public key in order to enable this feature.
Once enabled and configured by Dual Code, you are able to enable archiving of any/all custom reports that you build as per the screenshot below.
In order to enable this new capability, please contact Dual Code.
