Q. Who can enrol in courses listed in OCI?
A. Anyone. If an organization has a learning environment powered by Dual Code, then whenever their staff search for courses, the search results will show matching OCI courses. Otherwise, users can sign up for a free personal account on My Dual Code™ (https://my.dualcode.com) and enrol in any of the courses.
Q. Who can publish courses in OCI?
A. Anyone who is pre-approved. Only pre-approved organizations can publish courses in OCI. The pre-approval process increases the quality of the courses. If your learning environment is powered by Dual Code, you are automatically pre-approved. Otherwise, contact us at sales@dualcode.com to learn more about listing your courses in OCI.
Q. Can we offer free courses on OCI?
A. Yes. Many organizations offer their courses for free in OCI. Listing your courses in OCI is an excellent way to increase adoption and enrolment in your courses. There are over 1 million healthcare workers registered in OCI and enrolling in courses on a regular basis.
Q. Can we sell courses on OCI?
A. Yes. You can set a fee on your courses. Users will have to pay this fee in order to enrol in your courses. Payment methods include credit card, cheque and EFT (electronic funds transfer) depending on your volume and agreement with Dual Code.
Q. Can we collect demographics on OCI users?
A. Yes. Organizations using HCE Standard can develop a custom form and require users to fill out that form before accessing their courses. This form allows you to collect demographics on your users.
Q. Can someone “download” my courses if they’re on OCI?
A. No. OCI is secure and your courses remain your intellectual property. When users are enroling in your courses, they are creating an account on your learning environment. There is no way for an individual to download your course and install it in their learning environment. They can only link to it.
Q. Does publishing a course in OCI cost anything?
A. No. There are no costs to publish your courses. That being said, in order to publish courses on OCI, you need a learning environment powered by Dual Code. Organizations that have HCE Standard and HCE Express can publish their courses in OCI at no additional fees.
