Organizing Feedback Surveys by Classroom Session

The learning environment allows administrators and instructors to organize the responses for feedback surveys by classroom session. When enabled, a drop down menu appears at the top of the "Analysis" tab in the Feedback activity. The drop down menu shows all the classroom sessions that an instructor can manage. In other words, if you are logged in as a system administrator, you will see all sessions in the drop down menu. However, if you log in as an instructor that only manages a subset of the sessions, then you will only see the sessions you are responsible for managing.

Note that when a user creates a session, he/she is automatically assigned as the administrator for that session. To set someone else as an administrator for a specific session:

  1. Go to the face-to-face activity in question

  2. Click on the "Assign administrators" icon in the "Options" column for to the session in question.

  3. Assign one or more administrators by moving the user from the "Potential Users" box on the right to the "Current Users" box on the left. Note that there is no "Save" button on this page. The users are automatically assigned as administrators of the face-to-face session the second you move them to the "Current Users" box.
