New Password Policies

The learning environment now supports additional options for password policies, including the following:

  • Consecutive Identical Characters. Specifies how many consecutive characters are allowed in a user's password

  • Password Rotation Limit: Specifies the number of times a user must change their password before they are allowed to reuse a password.

  • Password Expiry: Forces passwords to expire after a certain period of time (between 30 and 365 days)

Please note that these options do not work for all authentication methods. For example, if your users authenticate against your Active Directory server, the rules set in Active Director supersede those set in the learning environment.
