Managing Notification Preferences

When you register for certain courses, the instructor may automatically enroll you in activities that send notifications, whether by email or using the learning environment's built-in notification system. As a general rule, these emails are useful and contain necessary information and you should read them. That being said, if you feel you are receiving too many notifications, it is possible for you to unsubscribe from emails even disable certain web-based notifications inside the system.

Step-by-step Guide

To disable notifications:

1. Log in the learning environment

2. Click on your name at the top right of the screen and select "Preferences"

3. Click on "Notification Preferences"

4. You can disable all notifications by checking the "Disable notifications" checkbox at the top of the screen, or by clicking on the On / Off button next to each type of notification
