Managing Instructors and Students

"Instructors" and "Students" are considered "roles" in the learning environment. As such, when you enroll a student in a course or assign someone to be an instructor for a course, you are essentially assigning them the role of "student" or "instructor" respectively.

• For mandatory courses, this should be be automated through the use of programs.

• If you prefer users to self-register (and the course is not mandatory), you can enable a self-enrolment method on any course.

• If you prefer not to enable self-enrolment (and the course is not mandatory), you can manually register users. This includes registering instructors.
