Sending a Notification when an Activity Changes

It is possible to send learners a notification when an activity changes.

Step-by-step Guide

To send a notification:

  1. Go to the activity in question

  2. Modify the activity as you normally would BUT DO NOT SAVE IT.

  3. Prior to saving the notification, enable the "Send content change notification" 

  4. Click on the save button

If the option is enabled, learners will be informed that the activity has changed. Note that this setting does not stick each time you modify the activity. In other words, the checkbox will be disabled next time you modify the activity (even though the notification has been sent) and you'll have to selet this option each time you want to send a notification when changing the activity.
