Removing the Header, Footer and Sidebar from a Web Page

Removing the Header, Footer and Sidebar from a Web Page

System Administrators have the ability to add web pages to the learning environment.  Generally speaking, these pages are embedded within the theme, but there may be times when you want to remove the header, footer and sidebar from the web page.

Step-by-step Guide

When linking to the page, you can pass "inline=1" in the querystring to remove the header, footer and sidebars from the page. In other words, if you create a page with a slug "newpage", when linking to the page, using the href tag "http://[yoururl]/newpage?inline=1" would remove the header, footer, and sidebars, thereby giving you a cleaner page. Note that this removes the navigation as well.
